The Worst Performing S&P 500 Stock Has been cut in half

After the tariff-related fears this spring, the S&P 500 has quietly clawed back to positive levels and is rising. The current bull market looks unbeatable. Recent news about inflation coming in higher and tariffs being hiked again has not managed to dent the market.

Instead, Wall Street continues piling into stocks, with "risk-on" sentiment dominating.

But this is mainly for the stocks that fit into the mold. Tech businesses with high growth and AI exposure are where the vast majority of Wall Street's money is going.

Elsewhere, the story is different. History argues that steep declines in large-cap names often sow the seeds of the next cycle’s outsized winners. Two S&P 500 stocks have halved, but they can also recover swiftly.

MyInvestedNews has gone through the S&P 500 to curate this slideshow that walks through the 20 worst performers year-to-date.
